Responsibility
Responsibility vs.Unreliability

Definition: Knowing and doing what both God and others are expecting of me

The "I Wills" of Responsibility
• I will keep my promises
• I will not make excuses
• I will do all my work to the best of my ability
• I will make things right when I do wrong
• I will know my duty and do my duty
Bible Verses:

We Are Responsible for Every Deed
Ecclesiastes 12:14 For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.

We Are Responsible for Every Word
Matthew 12:36 But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken.

We Are Responsible for Every Thought
Psalms 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.

We Are Responsible for Every Attitude
Matthew 7:1 "Do not judge, or you too will be judged.”

We Are Responsible for Every Motive
Psalms 26:2 Test me, O Lord, and try me, examine my heart and my mind;

Personal Evaluation
1. Would those you work for leave their most cherished possessions in your care?
2. Do you delegate to others jobs you know you should do yourself?
3. Do you have to be reminded to do the tasks that have been assigned to you?
